ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS

Rumi is a 3 year old 11lb chihuahua mix. She came to us from a shelter in California that was euthanizing due to space. Shortly after we pulled Rumi from the shelter we realized she was pregnant. Rumi had 5 beautiful babies while she was in our care, and she was an amazing mom. Now that all her puppies are in loving homes, Rumi is on the search for a forever family. She is a happy girl and she follows you wherever you go. She is very treat motivated and is as smart as a whip. Rumi is potty trained, does well in a crate, rides nicely in the car, and gets along well with other dogs.

ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS

Kip is a 3 year old, 10lb terrier mix. Kip came to us from the Mexican boarder with two of his siblings. He was found as a stray and was completely feral when he came to our rescue a few months ago. Kip has made impressive progress, he now sleeps in our bed and greets us when we pull in the driveway! Kip will need a patient family that is willing to give him the time and space to continue to grow. He is still very nervous around strangers and does hide at times. Due to his past we will require a fenced in yard for Kip. We are also looking for a quiet home preferably with other small dogs. He is a very sweet boy and chooses to play with the tiny little puppies we have in our rescue. He is gentle and docile. Kip has a lot of learning left to do but he is an awesome dog, we absolutely love him. He is altered and UTD with vaccines. He is doing very well with potty training.

MEDICAL HOLD

Franklin is a 5 month old, 5lb maltese/yorkie mix. He came to us from the San Bernardino, CA shelter where he was going to be euthanized due to health concerns. Franklin has a congenital heart defect called PDA and microphthalmia effecting one of his eyes. We are currently waiting for Franklin to get big enough to undergo heart surgery and possibly eye surgery. Franklin is expected to make a complete recovery and live a full, happy life post surgery. He is absolutely hilarious and loves getting into trouble. We just love this little guy!!!!

APPLICATIONS FULL

Jenny is a 4 month old, 5lb yorkie mix coming to us all the way from California. She is set to arrive on August 21st. Jenny is tiny but mighty, she was the smallest in her litter but that doesn't slow her down! She loves playing with her siblings and being outside. Jenny does very well with other dogs and would be a great addition to a family with kids. Jenny and her siblings were fortunate to avoid the shelter system thanks to our rescue partner in California. They have been receiving plenty of love, care, and attention over the past several weeks and are now ready to find loving families of their own. She will still need to be fully trained, including potty training, crate training, learning manners, and how to walk on a leash. Jenny is looking forward to finding her forever home and a family to call her own.

APPLICATIONS FULL

Dusty is a 4 month old, 8lb yorkie mix coming to us all the way from California. He is set to arrive on August 21st. Dusty is a sweet, affectionate, and playful puppy who loves spending time with his siblings. He has a special love for water and can often be found curled up in his water dish! Dustys friendly and loving personality would make him a wonderful addition to a family with children or other dogs. Dusty and his siblings were fortunate to avoid the shelter system thanks to our rescue partner in California. They have been receiving plenty of love, care, and attention over the past several weeks and are now ready to find loving families of their own. He will still need to be fully trained, including potty training, crate training, learning manners, and how to walk on a leash.
